Who leads Knox Pop Con?
Knox Pop Con is led by Executive Director Asami Martin and Vice President Matt Martin. The Board of Directors also includes Performance Coordinator Spencer Dinsmore, Lilia Martin, and Noah Martin — professional dancers, arts educators, and community organizers with extensive experience in K-Pop and J-Pop performance and youth development.
What qualifications do board members have?
Our board members bring professional backgrounds in dance education and K-Pop choreography, performing arts, event planning, scientific research and product development, and small business entrepreneurship — experience that spans the stage, the classroom, and the boardroom.
Is Knox Pop Con a registered nonprofit?
Yes, Knox Pop Con is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Tennessee (EIN: 33-4120670). We received our IRS determination letter in May 2025 confirming our tax-exempt status. All donations are tax-deductible.
