Who leads Knox Pop Con?
Knox Pop Con is led by Executive Director Asami Martin and an Executive Board including Secretary Ana Martinez. The leadership team includes professional dancers, arts educators, and community organizers with extensive experience in K-Pop and J-Pop performance and youth development.
What qualifications do board members have?
Our board members bring professional backgrounds in dance education, performing arts, event planning, paralegal work, and creative media. Qualifications include formal dance training since age 4, AMDA scholarships, Arizona State University performing arts degrees, and 10+ years of K-Pop choreography experience.
Is Knox Pop Con a registered nonprofit?
Yes, Knox Pop Con is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Tennessee (EIN: 33-4120670). We received our IRS determination letter in May 2025 confirming our tax-exempt status. All donations are tax-deductible.
