K-Culture Day: From HUNTRIX to Hangul

   Lunch, kids activities, vendor shopping, photos with HUNTRIX in costume, and community time. Built for families and younger fans.

2. 2:30 – 4:00 PM

   Vendor Marketplace

   Free to walk in

   Korean and K-pop vendors, artists and small businesses. No ticket needed — come shop, then stay for the afternoon.

3. 4:00 – 5:30 PM

   Korean Language Workshop

   Ticketed — from $20

   A beginner-friendly introduction to Hangul led by Seoulful Treasures. Read your first Korean words in ninety minutes — no prior study required.

4. 5:30 – 7:00 PM

   Random Play Dance

   Free to attend

   A K-pop chorus plays at random; if you know the choreography, you run in and dance it. All ages, no sign-up, no audition.

You do not have to stay all day. Each block stands on its own, and the two free blocks are genuinely free — walk in, no ticket, no sign-up.

Want to know the dances before August 9?

Random Play Dance is the part people most often say they wish they had prepared for. You do not need to — but if you want to walk in already knowing a chorus or two, Knox Pop Con teaches the same choreography year-round in Knoxville.

Vendors

Five booths, $40 for the full day, covering both the family lunch crowd and the K-pop afternoon crowd. Booths are sold directly by Knox Pop Con — you apply and pay in one step.

Questions

Is K-Culture Day free?

Partly. The vendor marketplace (2:30–4:00 PM) and Random Play Dance (5:30–7:00 PM) are free to walk into with no ticket. The lunch with HUNTRIX and the Korean language workshop are ticketed, starting at $10 and $20. An all-day pass covering everything is $35.

Where is K-Culture Day held?

Karns Community Club Youth Center, 6616 Beaver Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37931 — in Karns, northwest Knoxville, about 15 minutes from downtown. Parking on site is free.

Do I need to know any Korean for the language workshop?

No. The workshop is designed for absolute beginners and is led by Seoulful Treasures. You will learn to read Hangul, the Korean alphabet, from scratch. Bring nothing but curiosity.

Do I need to know K-pop choreography for Random Play Dance?

No. In Random Play Dance a song plays and anyone who knows that particular dance runs into the middle. Most people only jump in for the two or three songs they know, and plenty of people just watch. If you want to learn some before August, Knox Pop Con runs weekly K-pop dance classes in Knoxville.

Is this event good for kids?

Yes — the 12:00–1:30 PM lunch block is built around families, with kids activities and photos with HUNTRIX in costume. Use promo code family15 for 15% off when buying three or more tickets.

What is HUNTRIX?

HUNTRIX is the fictional K-pop girl group from KPop Demon Hunters. Knox Pop Con performers appear in costume as the group for photos and the lunch block.

Can I sell at K-Culture Day?

Yes. Vendor booths are $40 for the full day and cover both audience waves. There are five booths total and they are sold directly on the Knox Pop Con vendor page, not through the ticketing site.

What can I win in the raffle?

Raffle prizes include ATEEZ merchandise. Raffle tickets come with some passes and can also be added separately at $2 for one, $5 for three, or $10 for seven.
