Asami Martin
Founder & Lead Dance Instructor
When Asami teaches a K-Pop routine, she's drawing from 25+ years of study and performance in authentic Japanese and Korean dance traditions. Her training spans professional stages, master classes in Japan, and decades of connecting movement to meaning.
But what makes Asami special isn't just her credentialsβit's her philosophy. She creates "brave spaces" where students can risk, fail, learn, and grow. Every modification is offered with encouragement. Every student is met exactly where they are.
The shy student in the back? Asami sees them. The one struggling with the footwork? She's already thought of three ways to help. The advanced dancer ready for more? She's preparing them to lead.
"Most studios teach steps. We build humans. When a student gains confidence through dance, they carry that confidence into every area of their life."
