KKG is a Knoxville-based performance group founded by Asami. They are known for high-energy dance showcases blending K-Pop and J-Pop choreography. The team performs across Tennessee at festivals, conventions, cultural events, and community celebrations, bringing the excitement of Asian pop culture to new audiences.
Founded by Asami Martin β a professional dancer from Yokohama, Japan with over 25 years of dance experience β KKG grew from weekly dance classes at the Karns Community Club Youth Center into Knoxville's most recognized K-Pop dance presence. Three class levels run every Monday, building a community of 50+ dancers across all ages and skill levels.
Asami is also the founder of Knox Pop Con β the 501(c)(3) nonprofit behind the very event you're attending. KKG isn't just performing at KPC 2026 β they're the soul of the entire festival.
