The supporting cast adds Rina Hidaka as Caroline Ramsey, Sora Amamiya as Erin White, Haruki Ishiya as Henry Cox, and Shizuka Ishigami as young Rufus Stan. New additions include Haruka Shiraishi as Amelia Keys, Shōgo Sakata as Phillip, and Shōya Ishige as Mike.

The opening theme "Gōki MAX Sengen" (Grand MAX Declaration) is performed by Konomi Suzuki, with Miku Itō also handling the ending theme "Yoake Made ni" (Before Dawn).

Nobuaki Nakanishi directs at Jumondo, with Hiroko Fukuda overseeing the series scripts. The production includes character design by Hyun Sik Choi, music composition by Moe Hyūga and Natsuki Hamada, and a full roster of animation and sound staff from Kadokawa and partner studios.

The series follows Pia, an ordinary graduate student who is reincarnated as a 10-year-old background villainess in an otome game. Remembering that the game ends with her engagement to Rufus Stan—the prime minister's son—being called off and her banishment, she proposes they end the engagement while still young. Rufus, intrigued rather than deterred, instead makes a bet with her: they'll wait seven years to see if he actually goes through with the breakup. The romantic comedy plays out the fallout from his refusal to let her go so easily.
