On October 13, Knox Pop Con members and our performance team Knox Kpop Group (KKG) joined the Knoxville Police Department and the Alliance for Community Transformation for the 2025 National Faith & Blue Weekend celebration at the Jacob Building. The invitation came directly from Officer Shelley Clemons, KPD's East District Community Partnership Officer, who witnessed our team's performance at the 12th Annual Knox Asian Festival and recognized an alignment in mission: building safer, more connected communities by celebrating what we share rather than what divides us. For our young performers, this was more than a gig. It was an opportunity to see their art serve a larger purpose—bridging cultural, generational, and institutional gaps through the universal language of music and dance. Knox Pop Con is committed to creating pathways for East Tennessee youth to lead, perform, and contribute to their community. Events like Faith & Blue remind us why this work matters.
