Ukyō Kodachi's manga 365 Days Left for Dinner (Ato 365 Hi no Dinner) has come to an end. The final chapter appeared in the June issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine, with the fourth and final collected volume scheduled to release on July 17.

The series was a collaboration between Kodachi on original story, artist Sonshō Hangetsuban (known for Working for God in a Godless World), and composer Tsunakan Suda (Saint Seiya: Kaiō Saiki - Rerise of Poseidon). The manga launched in Champion RED in March 2024, following two girls whose chance meeting would transform the world of Chinese cuisine. Tobira works in a traditional downtown Chinese restaurant, while Tsukasa is a celebrity food consultant—their connection threatens to upend thousands of years of culinary tradition.

Kodachi has built a strong track record across anime and manga. Beyond this series, he's known for his work as head writer on several anime projects, including Chaos Dragon, Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace note, SEVEN KNIGHTS REVOLUTION: Hero Successor, and Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot. He previously gained attention as co-creator of the Boruto sequel manga with artist Mikio Ikemoto, which launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016. Kodachi remained the primary writer until November 2020, when original Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto took over writing duties.

365 Days Left for Dinner represents a different kind of project for Kodachi—a more intimate story focused on food and character interaction rather than the action-heavy narratives he's tackled before. With the series now complete, fans can look forward to collecting all four volumes as a complete story.
