BUDDiiS Gets First Variety Show on TV Asahi's 'Barabara Daisakusen'

BUDDiiS, the seven-member boy group from the EBiDAN collective, is getting their first solo variety show. The new program "EBiDAN Necchu! Asa made BUDDiiS" (EBiDAN Fever! Until Morning BUDDiiS) will air Thursdays as part of TV Asahi's late-night variety block "Barabara Daisakusen."

This marks a significant milestone for the group, who formed in 2019 under Stardust Promotion's EBiDAN umbrella. BUDDiiS consists of members Sato Ryuji, Tanaka Juri, Yamashita Gaku, Matsukura Kaito, Iwahashi Genki, Nakao Masaya, and Inoo Hikaru.

The "Barabara Daisakusen" time slot has become known for giving rising talent a platform to connect with audiences in a more relaxed, unscripted format. For BUDDiiS, this represents an opportunity to show their personalities beyond their music performances and build a stronger fanbase through television exposure.

EBiDAN groups have found success with variety programming before – sister groups like SUPERβ˜…DRAGON and M!LK have used TV appearances to grow their profiles. With BUDDiiS still building their recognition in the competitive J-Pop landscape, this variety show could provide the boost they need to reach new fans.

The exact premiere date and format details haven't been announced yet, but the show promises to give viewers an unfiltered look at the members' dynamics and humor.
