Domoto Tsuyoshi Returns to TV as Commentator on Comedy Show
Domoto Tsuyoshi from legendary duo KinKi Kids is making a television appearance as a commentator on Fuji TV's "Zenryoku! Datsuryoku Times" airing March 20 at 11 PM. True to his signature style, he'll be sporting his trademark glasses alongside fellow commentator Okada from comedy duo Masuda Okada.
The show is known for its relaxed, comedic take on current events, making it an interesting platform for the typically music-focused artist. Domoto, who performs under the solo name DOMOTO, has been relatively selective with his television appearances in recent years, focusing primarily on his music career.
Meanwhile, in radio news, comedy duo Asagaya Sisters are launching their own music program on Bunka Broadcasting. "Asagaya Sisters: Let's Harmonize from Morning" debuts April 4, with the sisters describing the show's vibe as "like chatting with an acquaintance you bump into at the supermarket on weekends."
The Asagaya Sisters, known for their musical comedy performances, aim to create an intimate, conversational atmosphere around music. Their approach promises to bring a casual, neighborly feel to morning radio - quite different from the polished presentation typical of many Japanese radio shows.
Both appearances represent interesting crossovers between Japan's music and comedy entertainment worlds, showing how artists continue to find new ways to connect with audiences beyond traditional formats.
