Emphatei is gearing up for a major release this summer with their third album, arriving June 10. Titled simply "Emphatei," the record compresses what the group calls their philosophy into 10 tracks.

The album pulls together several fan favorites. Four previously released singles make the cut: "Natsu yo" (Summer), "Sweater," "Dakara" (That's Why), and "Butterfly Effect." Beyond those, the group is including a newly recorded version of "Kemuri" (Smoke), originally part of their early self-produced single "Concrete Room" from their formation period. This fresh take features the current lineup, giving longtime fans a new perspective on the track.

One key note: this is a limited production run, so copies won't stick around forever once they sell out.

To celebrate the release, Emphatei is launching the "Self Titled Tour" across three major cities in June. The dates include:

  • June 19 β€” Nagoya Jammin' (Aichi)
  • June 20 β€” Conpass (Osaka)
  • June 27 β€” WWW (Tokyo)

This one-man tour format gives fans a chance to experience the new album in a dedicated show setting, which feels fitting for what sounds like a defining project for the group. The combination of polished new recordings, revisited classics, and live performances should give the fanbase plenty to look forward to as summer approaches.
