GEMINI, a jazz fusion band under Jazzy Sport, has released their third single 'Shadow of the Tiger' on May 27. The track marks the latest addition to the group's catalog, continuing their exploration of classic jazz and soul sounds.

The ensemble brings together an impressive lineup of experienced musicians: drummer Shigejoshi Ohtake from cro-magnon leads the group, joined by bassist Shoji Ishiguro (Inushiki), guitarist Ryuta Koshino (Razoku), keyboardist Shota Hishiyama (known for work with Urb and Kyoto Jazz Massive), saxophonist Taiga Tanimoto (SANABAGUN.), and percussionist Yohei Takada (Hotel New Tokyo, stim).

The new single stays true to GEMINI's core sound, rooted in 70s jazz, soul, and fusion. According to drummer Ohtake's comments accompanying the release, 'Shadow of the Tiger' follows the established path of classic jazz, hip-hop, funk, and rare groove. He encouraged listeners to enjoy the track alongside the band's first and second singles.

This release comes as GEMINI continues building momentum after their earlier singles. The band's collaborative approach—drawing from each member's diverse experience across different musical projects—has helped them craft a distinctive sound that honors jazz tradition while incorporating contemporary influences.

Listeners can stream 'Shadow of the Tiger' now across major digital platforms.
