Hiroji Miyamoto's upcoming album I AM HERO is shaping up to be a substantial return after a 4.5-year gap since his last original release. The 13-track album arrives June 10 with a mix of previously announced songs and fresh material.

The album includes previously confirmed tracks like "close your eyes," "over the top," "Today -胸いっぱいの愛を-," and the title track. New additions to the lineup feature "I love 人生!" as the theme song for TV Asahi's drama Reborn: The Last Hero, plus "風と私の物語" — a self-cover of a song Miyamoto wrote and provided to artist Ado. The remaining tracks are unreleased originals. The title track will be released in a remixed version by producer Giorgio Blaise Givvn.

Miyamoto, who was born in 1966, has maintained a prolific career as the founder and lead vocalist of rock band Elephant Kashimashi since 1981. The group has released 22 studio albums and 50 singles over its decades-long run. He launched his solo career in 2019 and has continued recording alongside the band's ongoing work.

I AM HERO comes in three editions. The standard version contains just the album, while two deluxe versions include concert Blu-ray and DVD footage. One limited edition features his 50th birthday live performance from June 2025 at Pia Arena MM, while the other includes a October 2025 concert at Nippon Budokan titled Ore to, Tomodachi (Me and My Friends).

The album arrives just before Miyamoto's milestone 60th birthday, positioning I AM HERO as a significant artistic statement at a new chapter of his career. Pre-orders are already available through major retailers.
