Kis-My-Ft2's Yokoo, GENERATIONS' Kataose Star in Quiz Show Special

Five popular J-Pop idols are set to test their knowledge on a high-stakes quiz show special airing March 28 on Nippon TV. The lineup includes Wataru Yokoo from Johnny's group Kis-My-Ft2, Ryota Kataose from GENERATIONS, Jin from THE RAMPAGE, Shunta Sono from M!LK, and musician Okasaki Taiiku.

The show, titled "THE FLOOR," will be hosted by Jun'ichi Okada and features a massive 10 million yen prize pool for contestants. This marks an interesting crossover moment as idols from different agencies and generations come together to compete.

Kis-My-Ft2, active since 2005, remains one of Johnny & Associates' most successful groups with multiple chart-topping releases. GENERATIONS, part of the LDH family alongside EXILE, has built a strong following through their blend of pop and hip-hop influences. THE RAMPAGE, also under LDH, represents the newer generation of Japanese boy groups.

M!LK's Sono brings representation from the rising idol scene, while Okasaki Taiiku adds his unique perspective as both a musician and comedian known for his sports-themed comedy songs.

The special promises to show these entertainers in a different light, testing their general knowledge rather than their performance skills. With such a diverse cast spanning different entertainment spheres, viewers can expect both competitive tension and plenty of entertainment value when the show airs later this month.
