Kobukuro is bringing their 2025 tour to the screen. The Japanese duo will release "KOBUKURO LIVE TOUR 2025 'THIS IS MY HOMETOWN' at ぴあをγƒͺγƒΌγƒŠMM" on June 24, featuring the full concert from their October 26 Kanagawa performance.

The main setlist runs about 145 minutes and showcases the duo performing 16 songs, including tracks from their "This Is My Hometown" EPβ€”which celebrates their Osaka rootsβ€”plus their recent single "Starry Smile Story." Fans will get an early look at the song before its official audio release.

Beyond the main concert, the release includes substantial bonus content. There's a making-of documentary capturing behind-the-scenes moments from the tour, plus a roughly 70-minute compilation of standout MC (talking) segments from all 23 shows across the tour run. The package also features "Osaka Hometown Drive," a special 35-minute segment showing member Kentaro Obuchi enjoying a scenic drive through Shikoku during the tour's final leg.

Kobukuro, who debuted in 2001 after meeting as street performers in Osaka, marked their 25th anniversary last year with the album "Quarter Century" and the accompanying tour that ran from August through November 2025. The "This Is My Hometown" tour drew from their EP exploring songs connected to their hometown roots.

Head of the June 24 release, screenings will roll out at theaters nationwide, with a special showing at PhΓ©nitiech Sakai in Osaka. Fans who purchase eligible products can enter a lottery for screening tickets at the Osaka venue, where Kobukuro members will appear.

Limited edition versions of the concert film come with a carabiner-style storage case available through the fan site. For full details on formats and the special screenings, check the official Kobukuro website.
