Japanese rock band lynch. is gearing up for a major comeback. The Nagoya-based group will release their 12th studio album, "CLIMAX," on July 1, 2026β€”their first original album since "REBORN" dropped in March 2023.

The release comes as lynch. enters their 21st year since debut. The five-piece has built considerable momentum over the past year, celebrating their 20th anniversary in April 2025 with a retake album and subsequent nationwide tour.

To support "CLIMAX," lynch. will hit the road for "IGNITE THE CLIMAX," a tour spanning 18 shows across 17 cities nationwide. The trek kicks off July 12 at Osaka's BIGCAT and runs through late September, hitting major venues in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, and beyond. The tour includes a stop at Tokyo's Zepp Shinjuku on August 31.

lynch. formed in 2004 in Nagoya as a four-piece with rotating support. The current lineup solidified with the additions of guitarist Yuusuke (2006) and bassist Akitoku (2010). They achieved major debut status in June 2011 via the album "I BELIEVE IN ME" and have been building their live presence ever since, eventually selling out Japan's legendary Budokan in November 2022.

The band briefly paused activities in December 2021 due to COVID-19 but resumed in September 2022, demonstrating their commitment to their fanbase even through setbacks.

For fans looking to secure "CLIMAX," King Records is offering a B2 promotional poster for pre-orders placed through their official online shop by May 31. The band will also hold album signing events across three cities: Tokyo's Tower Records Shinjuku on July 5, Osaka's Tower Records Umeda on July 13, and Nagoya's Tower Records Parco on September 13.

With over two decades in the game, lynch. continues to prove why they remain a fixture in Japan's rock scene.
