NEWS's Masuda Featured on timeless TV Show

NEWS member Masuda Takahisa appeared on the variety show "timeless Familia," the regular program featuring the popular J-Pop group timeless. The episode aired late night on Nippon TV on March 16th.

The show featured a segment called "Timeless Snack" (γ‚Ώγ‚€γƒ γƒ¬γ‚ΉγƒŠγƒƒγ‚―), set in a traditional Japanese snack bar environment. Masuda joined timeless members and comedian Totsuzen Akarui Yasumura in tackling questions about teenage concerns, bringing his characteristic humor and perspective to help provide "cool" answers to adolescent problems.

About the Groups

For international fans, timeless is a newer J-Pop group that has been gaining attention in Japan's music scene, while NEWS is a veteran Johnny's group that debuted in 2003. Masuda Takahisa, known for his cheerful personality and cooking skills, has been a core member of NEWS for over two decades.

The "snack bar" setting references a uniquely Japanese entertainment concept - intimate bars where customers can chat with hostesses while enjoying drinks and light meals. These venues often serve as casual counseling spaces in Japanese culture, making it a fitting backdrop for the advice-giving segment.

This collaboration showcases the supportive relationships between different generations of J-Pop artists, with senior group members like Masuda mentoring and supporting newer acts in the entertainment industry.
