The YouTube Award went to Hiiragi Magnetite for "Tetris," while MONGOL800 received the 10th Anniversary Special Award for their iconic track "Chiisana Koi no Uta" ("A Small Love Song")—marking the band's first major award after 30 years of activity.
The Niconico Creation Culture Achievement Award honored producer Giga, who emphasized the importance of fan-created derivative works in spreading original music. During the awards show, past recipients THE YELLOW MONKEY and MONGOL800 performed live.
NexTone, the copyright management company that established this award in 2017, selects winners based on copyright distribution results from managed works and broader cultural impact. The awards recognize both individual creators and music publishers, celebrating their contributions to Japan's music industry.
