WATWING brought their "WATWING LIVE TOUR 2025 'honest'" to a close at Tokyo Garden Theater on April 12, capping off a nine-month, 41-show journey across 21 Japanese cities. The six-member group used the final performance to connect directly with fansβ€”known as Windyβ€”through the material from their February 2025 album "honest," which centers on authenticity and personal truth.

Each member of the group contributed as a producer on the album, and the setlist reflected their individual creative voices. The show opened explosively with "Monsters," produced and co-written by Kuwayama Ryota, followed by a rapid climb through the group's energy with "Gnarly" and "FIRE BURN" (featuring production work from Takahashi Hayate and a composition by HAN-KUN from Shonan no Kaze).

Throughout the 21-track performance, WATWING balanced high-energy moments with intimate ones. Suzuki Akira's producer track "Yoake" showcased his melodic songwriting, while a collaborative song called "Home"β€”written by all six membersβ€”felt particularly significant, performed under warm orange lighting that highlighted the group's journey and bonds.

The show highlighted each member's artistic perspective, from Hachimura Rintaro's rock-influenced "Heart Song" (with its direct message to fans: "We'll keep pushing your backs") to Fukuzawa Kikuu's "Ii ne," which blended multiple genres with playful choreography. Guest appearances included contributions from RIP SLYME's PES and MIKEY from Tokyo Gegegei.

During the encore, WATWING previewed their new single "Present," set for May 1 release and written as the theme for the drama "Koyoi, Himitsu no Kitchen de." They closed with "Back to you" from their latest album, ending the tour on a warm, reflective note.

Since their 2019 formation through Horipro's Star Boys Audition, WATWING has grown from a debut EP in 2021 to headlining venues like Nippon Budokan. Their 2024 move to the new label +WHAX marked another chapter in the group's evolution.
