WHITE SCORPION Performs in Rain, Launches 3,000-Person Ikebukuro Event
WHITE SCORPION held a rainy release event for their 8th digital single '7秒のレジスタンス' and announced a new project aiming to draw 3,000 fans to Tokyo's Ikebukuro on May 30th.

WHITE SCORPION brought intensity to a rain-soaked Tokyo event on April 15th, celebrating their 8th digital single '7秒のレジスタンス' at Odaiba's LaLaport Toyosu. The idol group, created through Akimoto Yasushi's IDOL3.0 PROJECT, treated the bad weather as part of their performance, delivering an energetic set despite the downpour.
The group opened with the single's title track before moving into the K-pop flavored pop tune 'アイ マイ ライフ,' which member MOMO described as uplifting during difficult moments. WHITE SCORPION also premiered a new b-side, 'その世界線を生きている,' giving fans a first look at additional material from the release.
Beyond the performances, the real excitement came with an ambitious announcement: the launch of the "I.W.S.P. (Ikebukuro WHITE SCORPION Project)," which aims to draw 3,000 attendees to an event on May 30th at Ikebukuro Nishi-guchi Park Outdoor Theater. The target represents a significant leap—members reminded fans that last year's Toyosu event attracted 1,000 people. Member HANNA acknowledged the challenge, calling the new goal "three times bigger," but framed it as a stepping stone toward their September 5th one-man live at KT Zepp Yokohama.
WHITE SCORPION emerged from auditions held in 2023 and debuted in December of that year with 'Sniper,' operating across both physical and virtual spaces. The group, managed by entertainment company OVERSE and backed by the Nippon Idol Token cryptocurrency system, has steadily built their catalog with monthly releases throughout 2024. Their most recent album, the second mini-album 'Corner of my heart,' dropped in October.
The group's evolution shows in their setlist, which blends their earlier tracks with fresh material, reflecting growth since their first one-man live in September 2023. Members like CHOCO highlighted the narrative-driven music video for '7秒のレジスタンス,' where all 11 members play a single role across different scenes.
With momentum building toward summer, WHITE SCORPION is asking fans—known as "Scoropists"—to help make the Ikebukuro event a milestone moment for the group.
