MC Mong came forward to address affair rumors involving ONE HUNDRED Chairman Cha Ga Won, using a TikTok Live broadcast to publicly deny the accusations and explain his side of the story.

The rumors gained traction after MBC's PD Note aired on June 2nd, featuring a segment titled "MC Mong and the Chairman's K-pop Trade Secrets." The program included KakaoTalk messages allegedly confirming a relationship between MC Mong and Cha, which were provided by Cha's uncle. The episode also touched on other controversies including unpaid settlements at ONE HUNDRED and gambling allegations.

During his live broadcast on June 3rd, MC Mong stated that the core issue stems from Cha's uncle attempting to seize his niece's shares in the company. He criticized PD Note for not verifying the authenticity of the messages before airing them, saying the program should have contacted him directly.

Regarding the Las Vegas trip mentioned in the leaked messages, MC Mong explained that he traveled with the company's CEO, deputy CEO, and staff members—not just with Cha, which he argued contradicts the affair narrative. "If it were a honeymoon, why would it be with all the staff?" he asked.

MC Mong revealed that a court has already issued an injunction ruling the KakaoTalk messages as fabricated and manipulated. He named the original media outlet that broke the story and stated that only that outlet and Cha's uncle possessed these materials before they were shared with PD Note.

The artist issued a stern warning to all media companies, threatening legal action against anyone republishing the disputed messages. "I am telling all media companies right now: if you don't take down all false KakaoTalk messages after this time, I will file lawsuits and criminal charges against all of you," he said, adding that he would no longer tolerate the continued damage to his reputation.
