Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force announced Attack on Titan 3 at Summer Games Fest on Friday, marking the next chapter in the beloved action game series. The game will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

This entry serves as the "riveting culmination" of the action game series, adapting Attack on Titan's complete narrative arc from the Survey Corps' earliest days through the anime's conclusion. A major selling point is the chance to face off against the Nine Titans in combat for the first time in the game series, alongside new story content exploring the franchise's lore and characters.

Koei Tecmo plans to share additional details on July 1 (July 2 in Japan), so expect gameplay footage, release windows, and pricing information in the coming weeks.

This announcement comes as the franchise continues to expand beyond the anime's 2023 finale. The previous entry, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, launched in 2019 as an expansion of the original Attack on Titan 2 game. That version added content from the anime's third season and reached Western audiences across PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.

For fans of the series, Attack on Titan 3 represents a comprehensive video game adaptation of Hajime Isayama's epic story. Whether you're a longtime player of the franchise's games or new to gaming in the Attack on Titan universe, having the entire storyline contained in a single title could be the definitive experience many have been waiting for.

More information arrives next month, so stay tuned for additional reveals.
