Koei Tecmo America revealed a winter 2026 release window for Attack on Titan 3, the next entry in its action game series based on the long-running anime. The announcement came via a new gameplay trailer released Wednesday.

The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It'll support nine languages including Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, with Japanese voice acting.

Attack on Titan 3 marks the conclusion of the game trilogy, following the story from the Survey Corps' early days through the anime's dramatic ending. For the first time in the series, players will face off against the Nine Titans in combat. The game also promises new story content that expands on the characters and lore beyond what aired in the anime.

Studio MAPPA, which animated the final seasons of Attack on Titan, will create the opening sequence. However, this won't be available at launch—Koei Tecmo plans to add it in a post-release update.

This is the third mainline entry in Koei Tecmo's Attack on Titan game franchise. The original Attack on Titan 2 launched in March 2018 across PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. An expanded version called Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle followed in 2019, incorporating content from the anime's third season.

With Attack on Titan 3 covering the full narrative arc of the anime—which concluded in 2023—the game represents a chance for fans to experience the entire story through interactive gameplay. The addition of Nine Titan combat is a notable feature expansion, suggesting more variety in enemy encounters compared to previous entries that focused primarily on humanoid Titans.
