Netflix is releasing the second part of Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai on June 18, making all 12 episodes available simultaneously across the platform worldwide.

The new arc takes the action in a bold direction. Hidden beneath Tokyo Skytree, Mitsunari Tokugawa—a wealthy combat enthusiast—oversees a secret laboratory where scientists use advanced technology to clone and resurrect Miyamoto Musashi from his remains. The legendary swordsman's return to the modern world triggers a global crisis, pulling Baki, Yujiro, and the underground arena's most dangerous fighters into an unprecedented conflict.

The first part premiered worldwide on Netflix on February 26, with its 13 episodes released simultaneously. This staggered approach gives fans time between seasons while maintaining momentum for the franchise.

Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai adapts creator Keisuke Itagaki's first Baki-Dou manga, which originally ran in Weekly Shōnen Champion from 2014 to 2018 across 22 volumes. The Baki franchise itself spans decades of manga, starting with the original Baki the Grappler (1991–1999) and continuing through multiple sequels. English translations of the original series are now available through Kodama Tales, while Media Do handles the Baki sequel manga in English.

The Netflix anime marks a significant push for the franchise globally. Previous anime adaptations, including the 2018 New Grappler Baki series, found their home on the streaming platform, but this new production appears to be receiving the full simultaneous worldwide treatment.

With the second part arriving in June, fans will finally see how Baki and the world's strongest warriors handle a threat that transcends time itself.
