TMS Entertainment unveiled a new trailer for Baki: Strongest Proof, the latest mobile game in the long-running Baki franchise. The video, posted to the official TMS YouTube channel, introduces Musashi Miyamoto—the famous historical swordmaster—as a new playable fighter joining the game's roster.

Baki: Strongest Proof launched on November 22 across iOS and Android devices as a free-to-play training simulation game. The core gameplay loop lets players build custom teams from the Baki cast and pit them against opponents, with optional in-game purchases available for those wanting to speed up progression.

This marks the second major mobile title in the Baki universe. The franchise previously launched Baki: King of Souls in March 2022, a hand-to-hand combat RPG that pulled fighters from both the original Baki anime and Baki Hanma series.

The mobile game arrives as the Baki anime franchise continues expanding across platforms. BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai, based on Keisuke Itagaki's Baki-Dou manga, premiered on Netflix on February 26 with its first 13 episodes released simultaneously. The second quarter (12 episodes) is scheduled to hit Netflix on June 18, also dropping all episodes at once.

Itagaki's original Baki the Grappler martial arts manga spawned one of anime's most enduring battle shōnen franchises. Starting in Weekly Shōnen Champion in 1991, the original run lasted 42 volumes through 1999. The sequel manga continued for 31 volumes, followed by the 37-volume Hanma Baki series. Baki-Dou, the fourth manga in the franchise, ran from 2014 to 2018 across 22 volumes. English-speaking fans can now read the original manga through Kodama Tales, which began publishing translations in October.

With anime sequels, manga rereleases, and now a mobile game featuring iconic characters like Musashi, the Baki franchise shows no signs of slowing down.
