A new trailer for the BanG Dream! It's MyGo!!!!! // Ave Mujica sequel anime dropped on Sunday, confirming the series will premiere January 8, 2027. The show will broadcast in the "Friday Anime Night" block on NTV and 29 affiliated channels across Japan.

This sequel continues the story of the Ave Mujica band, following the first BanG Dream! Ave Mujica anime, which premiered in January 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming both that series and the upcoming sequel.

The Ave Mujica storyline itself spun off from the original BanG Dream! It's MyGo!!!!! anime, which debuted in June 2023 on Tokyo MX and ABEMA. That first series received two compilation films: Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko (A Sunny Spot in Spring, A Stray Cat) in September 2024 and Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta (Sing, the Song That Can Define Us) in November 2024.

Bushiroad launched the broader BanG Dream! multimedia franchise in 2015, which has expanded to include multiple TV seasons, films, and web anime spinoffs over the years. The BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora anime film project also recently opened on October 16.
