Cardfight!! Vanguard is gearing up for its next chapter. The franchise announced that Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Unmei Seisen-hen (The Fated Star Battle Arc) will air on November 7 across TV Aichi and six TV Tokyo stations at 8:00 a.m. JST, marking what's being billed as the final arc of the DivineZ saga.

The promotional video, released this week, previews the theme song "Escape" performed by the group Kis-My-Ft2. Notably, Toshiya Miyata—a member of Kis-My-Ft2 and the voice actor for protagonist Akina Myōdō—wrote the lyrics himself, adding a personal touch to the series' opening.

The anime consists of three episodes and will hit Japanese theaters first on October 2 before its TV debut the following month. Kinema Citrus is handling animation duties, with character designs once again provided by the manga creator collective CLAMP. Following the theatrical release, the series will stream on major Japanese platforms including ABEMA, d Anime Store, DMM TV, Hulu, Prime Video, U-NEXT, and Nico Nico.

This release continues the momentum from the franchise's previous season, Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Genma Seisen-hen (Phantom Star Battle Arc), which wrapped up in April after running for 12 episodes. The ongoing D Series, which kicked off in 2021, has maintained a steady release schedule across multiple anime seasons and sub-series.

In related news, the franchise also announced a mini anime adaptation of Kaeru DX's Ghost Meets Gal manga, produced by AtoriE. This three-episode project debuts September 5 at 8:00 a.m. JST and features voice actors from the Cardfight!! Vanguard universe: Karin Kagami (known for voicing Urara Haneyama) and Yūka Nishio (who voices Nao Inabe). The mini anime's theme song, "Nikoichi Mirai," is performed by BanG Dream!'s Mugendai Mewtype band.

With the theatrical film arriving this October and the TV series following in November, fans have plenty to look forward to as the DivineZ saga enters its final stretch.
