The Digimon franchise celebrated Digimon Day on August 3 by revealing the winners of its "Best Episodes of 4 Digimon Anime Series World Poll," a global fan vote covering the franchise's first four anime series.

Digimon Adventure's episode 54, "The Fate of Two Worlds," took the top spot, with "Home Away from Home" and "Wizardmon's Gift" placing second and third. For Digimon Adventure 02, "The Crest of Kindness" won first place, followed by "A Million Points of Light" and "His Master's Voice." Digimon Tamers fans voted "Beelzemon's Big Day" as their favorite, ahead of "Give a Little Bit" and "Such Sweet Sorrow." Digimon Frontier rounded out the poll with "End of the Line" in first, "The Brothers Yin and Yang" in second, and "Takuya and Koji's Evolution Revolution" in third.

Toei Animation is putting these results to use with a new compilation series called Digimon Bokura ga Eranda Best Adventure (Our Best Adventure). Fuji TV will begin airing the winning episodes on October 4 at 9:00 a.m. Japan time (October 3 at 8:00 p.m. EDT), giving fans a chance to revisit the community's favorite moments from the original four series.

The poll comes as the Digimon franchise continues to expand. Digimon BEATBREAK, the newest anime entry, premiered last October on Fuji TV and other channels, with Crunchyroll streaming it as it airs in both subtitled and English-dubbed versions. The franchise also announced that another new Digimon anime project is in development for broadcast in 2027.

August 3 marks Digimon Day because the events of the original Digimon Adventure series begin on August 1, making the date a fitting occasion for the franchise to celebrate fan favorites. The first Digimon Adventure anime premiered in 1999, nearly two decades after the original Digital Monster handheld toys launched in 1997.
