The television anime adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!) has announced two more cast members, bringing the ensemble closer to completion.

Haruka Shiraishi voices Hisako Kotobuki, while Miyu Tomita plays Komaro Michinoku. Character promotional videos and visuals for both roles dropped on July 11 and 18. These additions follow the earlier announcement of Shōgo Sakata as protagonist Mizunoe Ume.

Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! centers on Mizunoe, a student who joins the council hoping to fix his failing grades. What he finds instead is a crew of delightfully weird council members—each carrying their own quirks and secrets. The manga trades in the classic "ragtag group" comedy formula, balancing genuinely endearing characters with slice-of-life humor and occasional fanservice.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa directs the anime at studio Passione. The production team includes character designer Ryo Imamura (ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister!) and screenwriter Masahiro Yokotani, known for Re:ZERO and The Devil Is a Part-Timer! The combination suggests the anime will maintain the manga's comedic tone while giving its cast room to breathe.

The original manga, written and illustrated by Muchimaro, launched in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022 and has already reached 12 compiled volumes. Seven Seas handles English-language publishing, with the first volume arriving September 8—just ahead of the anime's October debut. The manga's popularity was bolstered by a win in the print category of the ninth Next Manga Awards in 2023, and it previously received an animated commercial in July 2024.

The anime premieres this October. English and Japanese voice cast information will continue rolling out as the release date approaches.
