GKIDS revealed three home video releases during its panel at Anime Expo on Sunday, all exclusive to the GKIDS Store.

The distributor will ship a 4K UHD Collector's Edition of the Look Back anime film on September 8. Based on Fujimoto's one-shot manga, the film follows Fujino, a popular student cartoonist, and Kyomoto, a reclusive student whose artwork sparks rivalry and eventually collaboration between them. The anime opened in Japan in June 2024, earning 227 million yen (roughly US$1.4 million) in its first three days and selling 135,000 tickets. GKIDS screened it in North America in October 2024, where it earned US$688,253 at the U.S. box office in its opening weekend. The company is also producing a live-action adaptation set to release in theaters across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Ireland in 2026.

On September 22, GKIDS will release a 4K UHD Collector's Edition of Angel's Egg, a newly restored version of director Mamoru Oshii and artist Yoshitaka Amano's 1985 OVA. The restoration was supervised by Oshii and created from a new scan of the original 35mm film negative. The film, made at Studio DEEN, follows a young girl protecting a mysterious egg in an underwater city and a boy searching for a bird from his dreams. GKIDS screened the remaster during a two-day North American run in November 2025.

GKIDS will also release Hideaki Anno's 1998 live-action film Love & Pop on Blu-ray Disc on October 6. Based on Ryū Mura's novel, the film centers on a Tokyo schoolgirl named Hiromi who dates older men over a single summer day to raise ¥128,000 for an expensive topaz ring.
