The anime staff for Go for It, Nakamura! announced two new cast members this week: Kenshō Ono voices Kō Matsumura, Hirose's former junior high classmate, and Kenta Miyake plays Nobu Todoroki, Hirose's old friend. Both characters made their first appearance in the show's eighth episode.

Ono brings considerable experience to the role, having voiced characters across major franchises including JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Attack on Titan. Miyake similarly boasts a long career in anime, with notable roles in Jujutsu Kaisen and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. Their addition expands the ensemble cast of this romantic comedy series.

The anime adapts Syundei's manga published by Seven Seas in English. The story follows Nakamura, an awkward but lovable high school student who becomes instantly smitten with his classmate Hirose—only problem being they haven't actually met yet. As a notorious klutz, Nakamura struggles to orchestrate their meeting without disaster.

The series launched on April 1 across Tokyo MX, BS11, and other Japanese networks, with Hulu offering earlier streaming access to new episodes. Outside Japan, Crunchyroll streams the show across North America, Europe, and multiple other regions, including an English dub version.

Direction comes from Aoi Umeki, known for Pop Team Epic, who also co-writes scripts and handles character design. Drive provides animation, with Naoki Yoshibe (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure animation director) serving as assistant director. The opening theme "Shunpatsuteki ni Koi Shiyō" (Let's Fall in Love Instantly) comes from Yasuyuki Okamura and Kento Nakajima, while the soundtrack is composed by Ayana Tsujita.

The core cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Nakamura and Yuki Sakakihara as Hirose, alongside numerous supporting voice actors filling out the school comedy setting. With strong creative talent both behind and in front of the microphone, the anime continues building momentum as it progresses through its run.
