Good Smile Company's Giant Robot Anime Jyuō Mujin Dandivine Premieres October 7
Good Smile Company's original anime Jyuō Mujin Dandivine, a giant robot series set 20 years after an alien threat was defeated, will debut October 7 on Tokyo TV and other Japanese networks. The show features Takanori Nishikawa performing the opening theme and marks the studio's first project in its new "God of Combined Series."

Good Smile Company is launching its first original TV anime as part of a new initiative called the "God of Combined Series." Jyuō Mujin Dandivine, which translates to Beast King War God Dandivine, will air on October 7 at 24:30 (effectively October 8 at 12:30 a.m.) across Tokyo TV, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, Chūkyō TV, and MBS.
The series takes place two decades after the giant robot Dandivine saved the world from the mysterious Aposdoll. Now at peace, the world has moved on—but toy manufacturer Kasuga, which built its fortune on Dandivine merchandise, has fallen into decline. When company president Genjuro Shijima prays for Dandivine's return, the Aposdoll suddenly reappears. High school student Gekiha Shijima, Genjuro's nephew, receives an invitation from his uncle Yusaku Kuroiwa, the robot's former pilot, to take the controls himself.
The voice cast includes Takuma Terashima as protagonist Gekiha Shijima, Haruka Shiraishi as Akane Kuzumi, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Yūsaku Kuroiwa. Director Yi Cao leads production at LIDEN FILMS and Kayac Animation, with Toshiki Inoue (Kamen Rider, Death Note) handling series composition and scripts. Character designer robin and original designer Majiro (Macross Delta) shape the show's visual identity.
Takanori Nishikawa performs the opening theme "Zankyō ≠ Blaster," while the unit DayRe: handles the ending theme "Mikansei Ordinary." Sound direction comes from Yoshikazu Iwanami, known for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
The anime marks Good Smile Company's 25th anniversary and coincides with a manga adaptation by TOGUCHI serializing in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine. The new promo video, revealed during the Aniplex One Focus livestream on September 12, showcased both the opening and ending sequences along with a new key visual.
