Hiroshi Shimomoto's delinquent comedy manga Delinquent Gacha (Gachankee) has reached its end. Shonen Jump+ published the concluding chapter this week, marking the close of a series that debuted just eight months ago.

The manga follows Jou Sago, a transfer student at Jikkai High—a bottom-tier school notorious for attracting delinquents from across the country. Despite being terrible at fighting and constantly looked down upon by his peers, Jou's life takes an unexpected turn when Goku Hitomi, the school's strongest fighter, transfers in.

Shimomoto launched the series on Shonen Jump+ in November 2025, building a modest following through the platform. The manga had been steadily released through compiled volumes, with the second volume shipping on May 1. The third and final volume will hit shelves on September 4.

The series entered its final arc on June 16, giving readers about two weeks of conclusion before wrapping up completely. For English-speaking fans, Shueisha's MANGA Plus service has been providing translations throughout the series' run, making it accessible to international audiences.

While Delinquent Gacha's time on Shonen Jump+ is finished, its brief run reflects the platform's role as an incubator for experimental manga concepts. The series' premise—blending high school delinquent tropes with what the title suggests is some kind of gacha element—offered a fresh spin on familiar territory, though it ultimately found a niche rather than mainstream success.

With the conclusion of Delinquent Gacha, fans looking for similar high school comedy-action manga will need to explore Shonen Jump+'s other offerings or revisit classics in the genre.
