The anime adaptation of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has added veteran voice actor Chō to its cast as Gerberga, a chicken revered as divine by the Luccira family. The character made their debut in the anime's third episode.

The series follows Luck, a soldier who holds the line against endless demonic forces for a full decade to ensure his comrades escape. Against all odds, he survives and emerges victorious—only to find himself struggling with what comes next in a world where he's become a legendary figure.

The Full Cast

Gakuto Kajiwara leads as Luck, with Toshiyuki Morikawa as Erik and Tsuyoshi Koyama as Golan. Yui Ishikawa voices Celliss Morton, while Mayu Sagara plays Sia Wolcott. M.A.O takes on the role of Luccira alongside Yurie Kozakai as Milca and Wakana Maruoka as Arone. The remaining cast includes Yuuki Terui, Akari Miyazaki, Miharu Hanai, and Suzuna Kinoshita. A group of prominent voice actors—Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kōsuke Toriumi, Takehito Koyasu, Shinya Takahashi, and Satoshi Hino—will voice the vampires central to the plot.

Production Details

Hiroyuki Kanbe directs at studio Gekkō, with Mitsutaka Hirota handling scripts and Majiro designing characters. The opening theme "Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku" is performed by sajou no hana, while MEISHOHIKOKAI performs the ending theme "Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e."

The anime premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 3, followed by launches on ABEMA and d Anime Store on July 6. It debuted on television across multiple networks including Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11 the same day, with an AT-X premiere on July 9. Square Enix and Comikey are handling the English release of the manga adaptation.
