A new promotional video has arrived for I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand, the anime adaptation of Ezogingitune and illustrator DeeCHA's light novel series. The PV confirms the anime will premiere on July 3 on Amazon Prime Video, with additional debuts on ABEMA and d Anime Store on July 6, plus broadcast runs on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11 the same day. AT-X will air it on July 9.

The video also reveals both theme songs. Sajou no hana, a rock band, performs the opening theme "Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku" (Even So, We Go Past the Cloudy Skies), while rock-idol girl group MEISHOHIKOKAI handles the ending theme "Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e" (Lucky in the Ordinary).

The story centers on Luck, a soldier who faces an impossible choice: abandon his comrades or stand alone against endless demonic hordes. Through a mix of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds the line for ten years—and somehow survives. Now, in a world where he's become a living legend, Luck must figure out what comes next in a life where he's simultaneously a veteran, a new face, and a myth.

The anime features an impressive cast led by Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck, alongside Toshiyuki Morikawa, Tsuyoshi Koyama, and Yui Ishikawa. Voice acting powerhouses including Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kōsuke Toriumi, and Takehito Koyasu will voice vampires central to the plot.

Director Hiroyuki Kanbe (Viper's Creed) helms the project at studio Gekkō, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero) handling the script and Majiro (Macross Delta) designing characters. Square Enix and Comikey are publishing the manga adaptation in English, giving Western fans a way to explore the story beyond the anime.

With its strong production team and intriguing premise, the series looks primed to deliver a fresh take on the isekai-adjacent fantasy genre this summer.
