Kamentotsu's The Creepy and Freaky (Kowaiya-san) is coming to an end. The manga will conclude with chapter 50 on May 27, Shueisha announced through the series' 49th chapter posted on the Shonen Jump+ platform Wednesday.

The horror anthology debuted on Shonen Jump+ in March 2025, making its run roughly 14 months long. According to MANGA Plus, which publishes the English version, the series invites readers to "step into 'The Creepy and Freaky,' where fear is our commodity. Take your time, shop around, and immerse yourself in these tales of terror for as long as you please."

Shueisha has already shipped three compiled volumes, with the fourth arriving June 4. The third volume released March 4.

This marks Kamentotsu's second completed serialization. The artist previously wrapped up Morris: Tsuno ga Haeta Neko no Bōken (Morris ~The Cat With the Fancy Horns' Adventure~) in October 2022. Kamentotsu is also known for Baby Bear's Bakery (Koguma no Cake-ya-san), which began on Twitter in November 2017 before expanding to the Netlab website and later receiving a print release from Shogakukan starting in 2018. English publisher Denpa licensed that series.

With The Creepy and Freaky wrapping, fans who want to catch the conclusion have just days to read the final chapter on Shonen Jump+ or through MANGA Plus.
