Kana, the manga imprint of Abrams ComicArts, announced it has licensed Tsubonari's Antengai: Twilight Metropolis (Antengai Gensō Kiroku) manga for English-language publication. The first volumes are set to arrive in spring 2027.

Antengai: Twilight Metropolis introduces readers to Antengai, a lawless island city claimed by no nation and isolated from the outside world. The story weaves together separate character arcs among residents—both human and ayakashi (Japanese supernatural beings)—as they navigate the dark secrets Antengai guards and contemplate what truths are worth pursuing.

Tsubonari originally serialized the manga through Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha's Comic Ruelle platform starting in 2018, with a collected volume that same year. The series proved successful enough to spawn a connected universe: a sequel titled Antengai Kisō Yakyoku ran in 2021, followed by a third entry, Antengai Rasen Sōki, which concluded in 2023 with its volume shipping in May 2024.

With this acquisition, English-speaking fans will finally have access to the complete Antengai saga. Kana's licensing track record suggests the publisher is betting on the manga's atmospheric storytelling and complex world-building to appeal to readers who enjoy darker fantasy settings with ensemble casts.

The spring 2027 window gives fans roughly a year to anticipate the release.
