Bandai Namco Filmworks revealed plans for a compilation film based on the Maebashi Witches TV anime, set to premiere this fall. The film carries the title Gekijōban Maebashi Witches: Majo Minarai no Emoemories (Maebashi Witches Emoemories: Blooming Witches), with a teaser visual already released.

The announcement came alongside news that the show's main cast will perform solo concerts in Tokyo on May 24 and Osaka on May 31. The original TV series debuted in April 2025 and streamed on Crunchyroll, with a rebroadcast currently running on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting in early April.

About the Series

Maebashi Witches centers on five high school girls in Maebashi city, Gunma Prefecture. First-year student Yuina Akagi's ordinary life takes a turn when a mysterious frog named Keroppe recruits her and four classmates to become the "Maebashi Witches." The girls discover a magical flower shop hidden behind a closet door, where they sing, dance, and help others achieve their wishes.

The cast includes Sakura Kasuga as Yuina, Hinano Sakikawa as Azu Niisato, Rena Motomura as Kyoka Kitahara, Haruka Minami as Choco Mitsumata, and Honami Momose as Mai Kamiizumi. Tomokazu Sugita provides the voice for Keroppe, with supporting roles from Yū Serizawa, Nao Tōyama, and Akari Kitō.

Director Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion) helmed the series at Bandai Namco Filmworks and PROJECT MBW, while Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!, Tower of God) handled series composition. Character designer Nozomi Tachibana adapted Yū Inami's original designs, with Yoshiki Imazu creating the "witchverse designs" and Yuri Habuka composing the score.

The five witches performed both the opening theme "Sugosugi Maebashi Witches!" and ending theme "Sorezore no Door."
