Launch Details

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls arrives August 6 on PS5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with a Japan release on August 7. The 20 launch characters include Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Peni Parker, Star-Lord, Storm, Wolverine, Magik, Danger, Doctor Doom, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Panther, Magneto, Goblin, and Carnage.

Sony is offering an Ultimate Edition with pre-order bonuses including five character costumes, animated chromatic colors for all launch fighters, and a Year One pass covering four future characters and one stage.

Single-Player Experience

Beyond competitive play, the game features Episode Mode—a single-player story presented in motion comic format. Marvel has enlisted a renowned writer from the original Marvel Comics to craft the narrative and expand the game's world-building.

This marks the first major fighting game collaboration between Marvel and Arc System Works, the studio behind the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue franchises, bringing their technical expertise to Marvel's superhero roster.
