Dōga Kōbō has revealed six additional cast members for Mebius Dust, the studio's original anime adaptation of Hajime Shinagawa's story. The new additions join a cast that already includes Yuto Takenaka, Nene Hieda, and Haruka Satō in lead roles.

The newly announced voice actors are:

  • Hiroshi Tsuchida (Attack on Titan) as Shippo Marimo, the mascot and de facto head of a flower shop
  • Ryōhei Shioguchi as Tenrō, the flower shop's heir
  • Ryō Hirohashi (My Hero Academia) as Shirayuki, Tenrō's half-sibling
  • Yūki Kuwahara (Seirei Gensouki) as Takara, an only daughter whose family runs a Vietnamese restaurant
  • Mari Hino (Mato Seihei no Slave) as Kirara, a fashion-conscious middle school student from a sushi shop family
  • Hiromichi Tezuka (Edens Zero) as Atsushi, a former soccer player whose family runs a liquor store

The anime follows three high school students—Araki, Stella, and Olga—living in a downtown neighborhood as they spend their days playing games, visiting bathhouses, and heading home. The official synopsis hints at deeper layers beneath their casual routine.

Tarou Iwasaki (Amaama to Inazuma, Baki the Grappler) directs at Dōga Kōbō, with Yoriko Tomita (My Dress-Up Darling, The Elusive Samurai) handling series scripts. The opening theme "Mebius" is performed by Leo Ieiri, while Ai Tomioka performs the ending theme "Dilemma." Composer DÉ DÉ MOUSE provides the score.

Mebius Dust will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji on July 9, with MBS following on July 10. The series will run for one cours (13 episodes). This marks the third anime produced from winners of the Project Anima contest, which selected Mebius Dust in the "Kids/Game" category back in 2019.

With a strong creative team and diverse cast of experienced voice actors, the series appears positioned to deliver a charming slice-of-life experience with potential for unexpected depths.
