My Hero Academia's eighth and final season claimed the top prize at the 10th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which streamed globally on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. JST. The ceremony also honored late director Tatsuya Nagamine with the Global Impact Award for his visionary contributions to the anime industry.

Fans voted for their favorites across dozens of categories through April 15 on the Crunchyroll Awards website. The ceremony, hosted by Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira, featured an impressive lineup of international and Japanese presenters including actors Kasumi Arimura and Winston Duke, musician RZA, and Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna. Musical performances came from Dean Fujioka, Porno Graffitti, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Yoko Takahashi, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

My Hero Academia picked up multiple wins beyond Anime of the Year. The series' opening theme "THE REVO" by Porno Graffitti won Best Opening Sequence, while the ending "I" by BUMP OF CHICKEN took Best Ending Sequence. The show also competed in the Best Continuing Series category.

Other major winners included Gachiakuta and The Summer Hikaru Died, each claiming nominations across multiple categories. DAN DA DAN Season 2 appeared frequently in the voting results, winning both Best Continuing Series and several music-related awards. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle won Film of the Year.

The Global Impact Award represented a special recognition this year. Nagamine, known for his work on influential anime projects, received the honor, which celebrates creators and works that have made lasting marks on culture and audiences worldwide. Last year's ceremony inaugurated the award by giving it to Attack on Titan.

Winners received special 10th-anniversary edition trophies commemorating the awards ceremony's decade of celebrating anime excellence. The Crunchyroll Anime Awards have become one of the industry's most significant fan-voted recognition events, drawing viewership from across the globe.
