Two upcoming live-action adaptations have announced fresh casting additions that promise to expand their storytelling potential.
The second Mr. Osomatsu live-action film has cast three actors as scientists who will play important roles in the movie's plot. EiichirΕ Funakoshi, Yudai Chiba, and Hitomi Miyauchi join the production as researchers whose work becomes central to the story. This casting choice suggests the sequel will take the sextuplets' adventures in a more science-focused direction compared to the original film.
Meanwhile, the live-action adaptation of Yamaguchi-kun Isn't So Bad has added two key supporting characters.
