New Spinoff Manga Launches for Our Not-So-Lonely Planet Travel Guide
Mone Sorai is launching a romantic spinoff manga titled Where Our Journey Leads on July 7, following the conclusion of the original Our Not-So-Lonely Planet Travel Guide series. The new series focuses on two best friends confessing feelings during a European trip.

Manga creator Mone Sorai is launching a spinoff series connected to their completed travel guide manga. Titled Where Our Journey Leads (Bokura no Tabi no Yukusaki wa), the new manga debuts July 7 on Mag Comi's website.
Unlike the original series, this spinoff shifts focus to a romantic story centered on two main characters: Paul, an Englishman, and Kaoru, a Japanese man who are flatmates and best friends. When the pair embarks on a European trip together, Paul finally confesses long-held feelings for Kaoru, setting up the core conflict of the new series.
The original Our Not-So-Lonely Planet Travel Guide (Bokura no Chikyū no Arukikata) ran on Mag Comi from December 2019 until September 2025, spanning seven compiled volumes. Publisher Mag Garden released the final volume in November 2025, with English licensor Tokyopop bringing the seventh volume to North America on June 30.
Sorai's decision to create a spinoff gives fans more content in this universe while exploring a different angle—shifting from the travel-focused narrative of the original to a romantic storyline. The choice to center the spinoff on two male characters and their relationship also represents a notable direction for the franchise.
For English-language readers, Tokyopop's licensing of the original series suggests potential availability of the spinoff in English down the line, though no official announcement has been made yet. Fans interested in keeping up with the series can follow updates on Mag Comi's website, where the spinoff will publish.
