Netflix is bringing the Straw Hat crew to the LEGO universe this September. The streamer announced a two-part animated LEGO One Piece special arriving September 29, complete with a new trailer and the full voice cast from the live-action series.

The special reunites the live-action cast, including Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Zoro, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp. Supporting players like Charithra Chandran (Vivi), Mikaela Hoover (Chopper), Katey Sagal (Dr. Kureha), Jeff Ward (Buggy), and Callum Kerr (Smoker) are also returning.

The special retells the events of the live-action series' first two seasons through a LEGO lens. According to the announcement, LEGO Usopp will narrate the crew's adventures to an adorably rendered LEGO Chopper, framing the whole affair as a storybook retelling.

Atomic Cartoons, the studio behind Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends, is producing the special in collaboration with Shueisha and The LEGO Group. Tom Hyndman serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, with Chelsea Ker directing. Series creator Eiichiro Oda is listed as an executive producer, signaling his involvement in bringing the adaptation to life.

This project capitalizes on the momentum built by the live-action One Piece series, which debuted on Netflix in August 2023. The second season, One Piece: Into the Grand Line, launched in March 2026 and even received a limited theatrical run across North America and Japan. Netflix has already greenlit a third live-action season titled One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, arriving in 2027.

The LEGO One Piece collaboration extends beyond animation. LEGO released its first batch of official One Piece building sets in August 2025, allowing fans to recreate scenes and characters from Oda's manga directly. The September special serves as both entertainment and a promotional vehicle for the expanding LEGO One Piece product line.

The special arrives exclusively on Netflix on September 29.
