Atlus dropped a character trailer this week for Persona 4 Revival, giving fans their first look at the remake's new English voice cast. The trailer, revealed on Atlus West's YouTube channel, introduces the game's roster as the studio prepares for launch.

Persona 4 Revival will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC with Xbox Game Pass, and Steam on February 18, 2027. Pre-orders are available now. This marks the first major remake of the original 2008 PlayStation 2 classic, which later received a port for PlayStation Vita in 2011 as Persona 4 Golden.

The new voice cast decision signals Atlus' commitment to localizing the remake fresh for Western audiences. While specific cast members weren't detailed in the announcement, the trailer demonstrates how the studio is reimagining the characters alongside gameplay and visual updates.

This remake comes on the heels of Atlus' successful Persona 3 Reload, which launched in February 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox platforms, PC, and later Nintendo Switch 2 in October. That remake proved the studio's willingness to revisit and modernize its classic Persona titles.

Persona 4 has maintained a strong presence beyond the original game. The franchise spawned multiple spin-offs including Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night. The series remains a fan favorite, particularly for its detective mystery storyline and memorable social link system that defined the JRPG experience for many players.

With Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal already establishing themselves on modern platforms, Persona 4 Revival represents another opportunity for longtime fans to revisit Inaba and for newer players to experience one of the franchise's most celebrated entries. The multi-platform release strategy ensures accessibility across major gaming systems, keeping the Persona franchise front and center in RPG conversations heading into 2027.
