The Please Excuse My Younger Brothers anime has a new opening theme. At the Aniplex One Focus livestream on Saturday, the studio announced that four-member band Neguse. is taking over as the opening theme artist for the series, performing a track called "LOVE & LIKE." Aniplex also released a special promo video featuring the band discussing their involvement and previewing the song.

The anime, adapted from Akira Ozaki's manga, debuted on July 3 and airs on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 at 24:00 JST. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in North America. The show is scheduled to run for 24 episodes across two consecutive seasons.

The cast includes Naomi Ōzora as protagonist Ito Narita, Toshiki Masuda, Taku Yashiro, Kenshō Ono, Momoka Terasawa, Daisuke Ono, and Aya Endō. Director Hitoshi Nanba, known for Golden Kamuy, is helming the adaptation at Lay-duce. Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) is handling series composition, with character designs by Shiori Hiraiwa and Yōko Fukushima. Gin of Busted Rose provides the soundtrack.

The current opening theme is performed by DISH//, with Reira Ushio handling the ending theme "Clover."

Please Excuse My Younger Brothers follows Ito Hazui, a high school student whose life changes when her mother remarries. Moving in with her new family, Ito discovers she now has four younger step-brothers—including the aloof but occasionally kind eldest, Gen. The manga, which debuted in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret in January 2020, has also inspired a live-action film that opened in Japan in December 2024, debuting at number four in its opening weekend.
