Sekai Project revealed its latest localization plans at Anime Central, confirming Western releases for two visual novels featuring the cat-eared characters fans know and love.

The publisher is bringing Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates 2 (Uchi no Pet Jijou 2) by Animal Herb and Neko-Nin exHeart Spin! 2 by Whirlpool to English-speaking audiences later this year. Both games are getting opening videos that showcase their charm—Sweet Housemates 2 features "Bitter sweet Mojito! -Remix Ver-" while Spin! 2 debuts "Senkuu Nyandertour."

Sweet Housemates 2 picks up after the original game's events, following protagonist Mint as she navigates summer with her growing household of supernatural companions. The story introduces Kuro, a mysterious girl with animal features who becomes entangled in the group's latest adventure. Sekai Project originally localized the first game back in April 2022, so this sequel builds on an established fanbase.

Neko-Nin exHeart Spin! 2 takes a different narrative direction, shifting focus after the protagonist learns his true heritage. Following his grandfather's death, Saiga Kikumaru discovers Japan harbors a secret population of demi-humans—animal-eared people living hidden from mainstream society. He learns he's the illegitimate heir to the influential Saiga clan and becomes entangled in a succession conflict triggered by his father's mysterious disappearance.

Beyond these two releases, Sekai Project is also dropping a Nekopara 10th Anniversary -Sayori Art Works- artbook in the third quarter of 2026, available in both physical and digital formats. This marks a decade since Nekopara's initial release, cementing the visual novel's lasting presence in the medium.

Both new visual novel releases are set for 2026, though exact launch dates haven't been specified. Fans of the series will want to keep an eye on Sekai Project's official channels for more details as release windows approach.
