The next chapter of the survival game saga is coming to screens worldwide. Kadokawa announced that SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table 44: Cloudy Beach will premiere on streaming platforms globally beginning July 13, with Netflix handling worldwide distribution and Crunchyroll covering North America, Europe, Africa, and other regions.

The film continues the story after Yuuki breaks through the "thirty-game-jinx"—a phenomenon where long-time survivors face drastically reduced odds of winning. This time, Yuuki finds themselves competing on a remote island with seven other players, including someone from their past. The new game is called "Cloudy Beach."

Before its worldwide streaming release, the film will have a limited two-week theatrical run in Japan starting July 10. The movie also launches across multiple Asian platforms, including QIYI and MUSE in mainland Asia, with dedicated streaming homes in Korea (Aniplus and Laftel), Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand.

The film features the full returning cast, including Aino Shimada as Maguma, Anna Nagase as Essei, Hikaru Tōno as Mozuku, and Konomi Inagaki as Hizumi, alongside Riko Akechi, Yukari Tamura, and Yume Miyamoto.

Behind the scenes, Studio DEEN's Sōta Ueno (Days With My Stepsister) directs, with Rintarou Ikeda (The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement) handling series composition and Eri Osada (Blade & Soul) on character design. The production team also includes sound director Noriyoshi Konuma and a full roster of animators and designers who worked on the original series.

The SHIBOYUGI television series premiered on January 7, based on Yūshi Ukai and Nekometal's light novel series. The debut episode ran 60 minutes long, and both Crunchyroll and Netflix have been streaming the anime alongside a same-day English dub on Crunchyroll. Fans can catch the new film across their preferred platform starting July 13.
