Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 3 has announced its second ending theme song, performed by singer adieu (the stage name of actress Moka Kamishiraishi). The track, titled "Wanna me," will play during the anime's second half as it continues its extended run through the year.

Satoko Shibata composed and wrote the lyrics for the ending theme. The song's CD single arrives July 29, with a limited first pressing that includes a Blu-ray disc featuring footage from adieu's "adieu LIVE 2025 à la plume" concert held last September.

The third part of this light novel adaptation premiered April 4 on Yomiuri TV and NTV, airing across two consecutive quarters for a half-year broadcast. Crunchyroll streams the series with both English subtitles and an English dub. Little Glee Monster performs the opening theme "Pages," while Nogizaka46 member Erika Ikuta sang the first ending theme "Ima mo, Arigatō."

The production features some changes from previous seasons. Yoshiaki Iwasaki (known for Hayate the Combat Butler and We Never Learn: BOKUBEN) directs at Wit Studio, replacing longtime franchise director Mitsuru Hongō. Mariko Kunisawa returns as scriptwriter, while Aiko Minowa joins as the new character designer. Composer MICHIRU continues to handle the music.

Returning voice cast members include Yuka Iguchi as Rozemyne and Show Hayami as Ferdinand. New cast additions include Yukari Tamura, Mami Koyama, Minami Takayama, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Nao Tōyama, Asami Seto, and Katsumi Fukuhara in supporting roles.

Ascendance of a Bookworm adapts Miya Kazuki's light novel series, which has sold over 13 million copies across print and digital formats. The original web novel concluded in 2017, with the print edition completing its main story in December 2023 across 33 volumes. J-Novel Club handles English releases of both the light novels and manga adaptations, making the series accessible to international audiences.
