Fans of Mikase Hayashi's Soredemo Otōto wa Koishitagaru (Still, my brother wants to fall in love.) have something to look forward to. LaLa magazine announced a special epilogue chapter will run in the publication's July 24 issue, giving readers a glimpse into what happens three years after the main story wrapped up in May.

The 47-page epilogue will continue following Nao and her younger step-brother Rihito, whose complicated dynamic drives the series. Nao's desire for her brother to rely on her more—paired with the unspoken tension between them—creates the emotional core of this romance manga.

Hayashi's series ran in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine since its February 2022 launch and completed its serialization after four years. The publisher released seven compiled volumes, with the final one hitting shelves in March. This epilogue marks a return to the characters after their story officially concluded, offering closure or new developments for invested readers.

This isn't Hayashi's first rodeo with extended storytelling. After wrapping up the romance manga Marriage Purple in June 2021—which ran for three years in LaLa starting July 2018—the creator released a spinoff chapter the following month. That series expanded across six volumes before its conclusion. CMX Manga previously brought Hayashi's work March on Earth to English-language audiences, though there's no word yet on English localization for Soredemo Otōto wa Koishitagaru.

The special epilogue announcement comes as LaLa continues supporting completed series with bonus content, a strategy that rewards loyal readers while keeping popular properties in the cultural conversation. For fans who've followed Nao and Rihito's journey, the chance to revisit them years later should provide a satisfying addition to their story.
