The production team behind Star Detective Precure! The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of 2 People revealed the film's main trailer and complete staff roster over the weekend, giving fans their first real look at the 23rd Precure feature.

The trailer showcases the film's ending theme "FIRST PRISM," performed by Yūka Masui and Chihaya Yoshitake, alongside the insert song "First Step" by Ami Ishii. The team also released dance lesson videos for both tracks—a fun way to get fans involved with the music before release.

Directing the film is Hanako Ueda, known for her work on Summer Time Render and episodes of My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON. Yoshimi Narita handles the script, bringing experience from multiple past Precure films. The music composition team of Erika Fukasawa and Misaki Umase returns from You and Idol Precure♪, while character designer Emiko Miyamoto (who worked on Precure All Stars F) also serves as chief animation director.

The story follows Detective Precure as they investigate the mysterious "X Mark Incident." When a fairy named Rain appears seeking help, she leads them to Karin's Garden—a beautiful location now overrun by tiny creatures called "Dame Dame." The team's investigation reveals secrets hidden within the garden itself.

Fans of the broader Precure universe will appreciate that characters from You and Idol Precure♪ and Wonderful Precure! are confirmed to appear in the film, bridging multiple series within the franchise.
